DIY Improvements and Changes for the Better

We all need change from time to time in our lives in order to get rid of the monotony of things and that includes change to our homes too. I would like to take you through my journey of renovating my home. Well, it all started about a year ago and after the birth of my second child. By that time, we decided we needed to improve the security of the house, so we installed some solar security lights and stronger locks. Another change - we live in a relatively small duplex with three bedrooms and a tiny garden and so my husband and I decided we needed the extra space, as I was just about to start my own little business at home. So first it was the story of finding the best builder, then plumber, paver and painter. After all the quotes were given, we finally assembled a team, and they did a fantastic job extending our house.
