I learnt independence through my first job away from home.

When I graduated from college, I had my own specifications when I started seeking for a job. I wanted a job in staffordshire, because it was my home town, and I wanted to be close to my family all the time. I had to send application letters to only the companies that were within the town. When I could not get any reply, I went to Staffordshire job centre to seek help. I was told that they helped a job seeker get a job in any town that the vacancies existed so I had to agree to work in any other town in the country to register with them. I did not have an alternative, because I really wanted a job. I was lucky to get a job in one of the closest tons to my home town a week later. I used my first salary to get a car in order to commute from home to work every morning and back every evening. After sometimes, the expenses became too much for me to handle, and I had to settle in the other town. This is how I learnt to live an independent life away from home and from my parents.
