Trying to Get Different Exterior Paint Ideas from Movies and Old Pictures

My husband inherited an antique-looking but very elegant house from his grandmother, being the only grandson in the family. It has been with us for a while but after giving it much thought, we finally decided that we will move there and sell our existing house so that we can use the money to start a new business. However, before we move, we need to fix up the place or at least repaint its exterior. We have been watching old movies and also browsing at old houses in the internet just so we could get different exterior paint ideas. My husband and I both believe that we should preserve the antiquity of the house rather than make it modern because it is the rareness that provides its quiet appeal and unique charm. We are carefully selecting the color scheme we are going to use because we do not want to just get it done, but we desire that it be done tastefully.
